Hi, I'm Ruby.

I was first drawn to jewellery as a skill to build alongside my everyday work as an outdoor instructor, I have always loved art and to me it's the perfect way to wind down. During recent years I’ve spent any available downtime building my skills; wire work in pubs after a day of raft guiding in North Wales, wax work in my breaks as a liftie on Fernie ski hill and designing a portfolio whilst working on a British Colombian ranch.

It wasn’t long before I realised that there was a way to combine jewellery with the things I love - travel and nature. I saw this as an ideal outlet for my creativity and a way to weave these into my brand.

RubyRue was set up at the beginning of 2026,  but I had been chipping away at launching a business for a much longer time. 

Each piece starts from a full immersion in the outdoors and eventually becomes a metal form. This is because if I'm not in the studio I will be out in the water or up a mountain, or in a field. 

I want my jewellery to be able to provide armour for you in your world. Something to help give you the ability to be your best self. Maybe it will connect you back to one of your favourite memories out in the wild.
